This terrace needed a little love because of all the flaking of the prior stain. After only a couple of yesrs, the owners realized that the stain flakes too rapidly so a better solution was suggested, an executed. After completely stripping and sanding the existing deck boards, we stained the terrace using tinted oil. The advantage being that if there is more wear and tear in one area the following years, you don't need to re-strip and start all over. Just clean and re-oil. This solution is much more durable and environmentally friendly!
